Toni’s no stranger to making mistakes. She has experienced firsthand how walking down the wrong path can send life spiraling out of control. Fortunately, she had someone to drag her from the gutter and help set her on the right track. As penance for the poor choices of her past, she pledges to suppress her baser desires and focus on finding a steady, dependable man, even if that means embracing a boring lifestyle.

The last thing anyone would call Zach is dull. As Enforcer for the Hell's Handlers MC, he embodies the outlaw lifestyle. When Toni moves in next door, Zach can't resist the possibility of a quick, hot fling. But he soon discovers she's not the easy conquest he's used to.

While Zach works to convince Toni she belongs in his bed, a tenuous relationship with a local gang disintegrates and threatens his MC family. Zach's world is turned upside down when he's unable to keep the danger from touching his club.

As Toni fights to resist Zach's pull, her own peace is shattered by demons from her past. With enemies both old and new barreling down, she throws out her rules and turns to Zach for aid. Soon, she finds herself firmly entrenched in Zach's dangerous world.

Is it possible for her to curb her desires, or is she doomed to repeat the mistakes of her past?

None of it will matter if Zach can't keep their enemies at bay.

Lilly Atlas is the contemporary romance author of the award-nominated No Prisoners MC series. She’s a proud Navy wife, mother of two spunky girls, and one crazy pug. Every time Lilly downloads a new EBook, she expects her Kindle to tell her it’s exhausted and beg for some rest. Thankfully that hasn’t happened yet, so she can often be found absorbed in a good book.

Well, what can I say other that Lilly Atlas has started off the Hell's Handlers Series with a Five Star read for me. This book had everything, a Hot as Hell biker that can melt his strong as nails woman with just a few words, a rival gang that doesn't know they're messing with the wrong person, a soon to be ex that Toni finds out was more than just a dud in bed, and a ton of secondary characters that have me wanting more, more, more!!!!

I am not going to give any spoilers because honestly where is the fun in that, you need to read the book, or in this case listen to it like I did, and find out what happens. I will say that the narration of Noah Michael Levine and Erin DeWard is phenomenal, is like cat nip to my ears. Sexy, Sultry, and oh so smooth, yes they really work well together.

Maverick's book is up next and I really can't wait to see how his story plays out. I was hoping it would have to do with a certain woman we hear about but never actually meet and it does! So I am super excited. I not only recommend reading this book I recommend listening to it as well, the narration really adds another layer to the story and immerses you into it so you feel as if you are there with them as the events are unfolding.  Happy Reading!!!

I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Lilly Atlas. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it. I OWN A KINDLE COPY OF THIS BOOK.

  • Do you listen to music while writing? Does it influence the flow of the scene you are writing?
    • I’m usually alone in my house while I’m writing and I actually like to keep the TV on low in the background. What I’ll do is put something on I’ve seen a million times so it’s not distracting, just some comforting background noise. My go to is Friends! I don’t really think it influences my writings because I’m basically able to tune it out. I hate having total silence.
  • Do you believe certain types of writing translate better into audiobook format?
    • I suppose a textbook on Physics would be pretty dry and tough to listen to, but as far as fiction, and even most non-fiction, I think any book can be made into a quality audiobook. To me, it seems less the subject matter and more the quality of the writing and engagement of the narrators. Any book can be read in a monotone voice without much feeling and be underwhelming as opposed to read by narrators who are very engaged with the story and really feel the characters.
  • When sitting down to write a new book you have a specific outline to follow or does it just flow naturally?
    • A little bit of both. I have a general outline, but I do not outline each chapter/scene. Most of the time it flows as I write the story.
  • Can you tell us about your upcoming book?
    • I just had one released two weeks ago, Maverick, the second book in the Hell’s Handlers’ Series. Maverick was a fun character to write. He’s a tatted and pierced baby boy who is a perpetual flirt. It’s always fun to knock those guys into monogamy with a good woman. Currently I’m working on Jigsaw, which will be the third book in the same series. His character’s darker, and more serious than Maverick, having had a devastating tragedy in his past that shaped his life moving forward.
  • What do you like to do when you aren't writing?
    • I have three kiddos, ages five, three, and one, so they take up most of my non-writing time. But, and I suppose this is no surprise, my free time is spent reading!
  • What did you enjoy most about writing this book?
    • This is the first in a new series so I loved creating a new fictional universe and introducing new characters. As I wrote this story, tons of ideas for future books and characters rushed my brain. It’s always fun to have big surge of imaginative ideas, and I get very excited about future books.
