Blurb

One heinous tragedy changed my entire family forever.
That morning, my world crumbled. I lost my parents.

Now, I live by certain rules.
Don’t let anyone know what goes on inside your head.
Stay away from crowds.
Never fall in love.

Though, that was until her. She has me questioning everything.

It’s the haunted eyes.
The sultry voice.
The sweetness under her armor.
Everything about her captivates me. The surge of energy we create with one touch has me searching for her, even when there’s also something dark underneath her bright smile.

Unable to resist the desire toward her, I break my rules giving her all of me while expecting all of her.

This was a hard book to read and I must admit that I had to put it down several times to regroup, pull myself together, then and only then was I able to continue. Claudia Burgoa did a wonderful job with portraying two people that have so much against them find not only themselves but someone that loves them regardless of their flaws.

Mental illness is a touchy subject matter and I have to be honest that I was truly on the fence about reading this book, but having read several books by Claudia Burgoa and enjoying them, I thought I would give it a chance and I am glad I did.

Hunter and Willow's story gutted me and I don't say that lightly, this book had me sobbing, not just crying but sobbing, it was that gut wrenching. I advise anyone that plans on reading this to make sure you have a box of tissues handy because you will need them. That being said, this was an amazing read that will leave an imprint on you. Hunter and Willow are two imperfect people that are perfect together.
