I had been waiting for Ryder's story for a while, we first met him in the first book of the series, Bound Beneath His Pain, and there was just something about him that enticed me. It could have been his ruggish good looks or it could have been the fact that no matter what he is always there to help his friends out when they need him.

This was an enjoyable read but unfortunately not my favorite of the series. There was just something about Hadley and Ryder together that didn't pull me in, the chemistry was just ok for me. I totally enjoyed the sexy times don't get me wrong but I didn't feel the connection that I had felt with the other couples.

Restrained Under His Duty is the third book in the Dirty Little Secrets series but can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading the series in order that way you have the back story on the secondary characters, there are events that happen in this book that may spoil things if you plan on going back and reading from the beginning.

“Next time we go anywhere remind me to bring a spare pair of panties in my purse,” she says, her amused eyes flicking to mine.

“Next time don’t look as beautiful and we won’t have a problem,” I tell her, liking the heat I find in the depths of her eyes as we pass beneath the streetlight. “Besides,” I continue, lowering my voice in the way she sensually reacts to, “we both know that I like that you can still feel me inside you. And you like that you can, too. So I say, next time, skip the panties all together.”

As expected, her eyes flare red-hot with desire. “Blackwood, you are a dirty, dirty man.”

“I accept that title with pride, sweetheart.” I take her hand in mine and kiss her palm. “And you like that, too.”
